Hi Brad,
With "Eat Stop Eat" I was able to completely overhaul my
entire diet (eating whole foods, lean meats and limited
processed foods), as well as eat smaller portion sizes and
how to tell when I wasn't hungry anymore. I also found
certain foods that irritated my stomach and was able to get
rid of them, and now feel physically better than I ever have.
When I work out, I don't feel weak or drained. My energy level
and strength has not decreased and my workouts are just as
good if not better than before (I can now do wide grip pull
ups). I also find that my mood isn't affected, I don't get light
headed or any of the common symptoms people believe
happen when you fast.
Right now I fast Tuesday after supper until Wednesday 24
hours later, as well as Friday after supper until Saturday 24
hours later. I no longer even think about fasting I can just tell
myself I'm not eating for the next 24 hours and it's done. I
don't find myself feeling like I have to make up for lost
calories and overeat during the rest of the week and it shows.
I went from 245lbs in the middle of July to 185 lbs today
November 7th. Only about 3 and a half months and 60lbs!!!

First, it's amazing how effective this has been for me. I have struggled for years to get my weight down. Sometimes it worked (for a while), but most times I fell off, and stayed off. I'd get frustrated and upset, and put on more weight than I took off.
Eat Stop Eat is different, though, and it's been remarkable. I've fasted twice a week for the last 6 weeks, and I've taken off 15 pounds! What's been truly remarkable, though, is how easy it has been. On eating days, I try not to overdo it, and try to make decent decisions about what I'm eating. Also, I thought you might like to hear this. 4 months ago I went to the doc. I weighed 253 on their scale, and my total cholesterol was 268 (not good). The doc gave me 4 months to take off some weight, and get my cholesterol retested. I went back this past Friday. My weight was down to 231 (a 22-pound drop), and my cholesterol was down to 223!
